Here is a pic of Bachelor Bill. This is from the summer of 1997, a few months after I met Suzanne. We are having dinner (Meet the Family dinner party night) at the now defunct Sinatra's, which was in downtown St. Louis. I ordered the "Dean Martin Martini" which was a dry martini w/green olives and a Camel cig. I can see why Suz could not keep her eyes off me or her hands. Ha Ha. I still have that dress shirt. I think Suz would like to burn it. I think it would be a great quilt piece.
So it's Sunday again. Normally I don't post anything, but a close friend/follower suggested that I tell you what I am eating everyday. So I wanted to say I will be posting my "menu" as well on the daily blogs. The daily meal list for the day will appear at the very bottom of the post.
Today I ate a gallon of Ted Drew's Vanilla Custard ice cream and a 12 pack of Bud light for breakfast. My snack was a tin of Blue Diamond Oversalted Almonds. Lunch was a California Burger from Red Robin with limitless fries. (its from California so it must be healthy---NOT). My afternoon snack was 2 bags of Frito Lays "Smart Food" which is cheese popcorn. And dinner was a bag of Quaker Cheddar Cheese Rice Snacks, a 6 pack of Guinness, and four Whole Food's Sun Dried Tomato and Blue Cheese Chicken Brauts. I have not been eating between meals. I dont know why I only lost 1 lb this last week..............Psyche........Ha Ha.
Great looking couple.
ReplyDeleteI dropped just over 1 lb this week as well. At this rate I will be at my goal in in 30 months.
Getting excited about the gym again. To let you know, I think the gym helped me end up where I am today. In 1997 I started lifting weights regulary. Went from 195lbs to 215 in about a year. I must say, I was pretty buff and ripped. Dana loved it. My shedule was 3 days of lifting (2 body parts each day) and a day off. Incorporated abs 4 of the 6 days and did a ton of cardio. Dana was a workout phenatic as well. The arrival of the twins and my 5th knee surgey took the gym completely out of my life for 2 years.
I have tried getting back into a gym routine but I have had a hard time with it. My knees are miserable and I have devloped tendinitis in one elbow.
I am limited on what I can do, thus my lack of desire to get back into it. My cardio is limited to bikes and swimming. I will use this as a positive. Bike and swimming it will be. I will stay away from the weights for now. Stretching and abs will be incorporated.
Travel does make it tough as you know. I am on the road 50-60%. But as you know, there is a lonely bike in every hotel.
Stay focused and we'll hit our goal.
I suggest we do lunch soon and enjoy some rabbit food together.
Frank, I am in for lunch. I think I have your number. I will try and catch up with you today or tomorrow, Monday. I did not know you had these knee problems.....that sucks. To many years of the Zips I guess.
ReplyDeleteYou have to take Glucosamine Chondroitin, if are not already. I am not a big believer in all the supplement craze but this stuff works. It gives you lubricant in your joints and you wont have as much pain. The GC is not cheap but Frank you will notice a difference. It take about 2-3 months to kick in. And yes keep stretching too.
Kids are always a great excuse, especially twins. I must say that we want to have you and Dana over with the kids sometime soon.
I will call you about lunch.
Your such a pain in the ass! I gasped at first thinking you were serious about your food intake. That all sounds so gross to me.
